MEASURING THE MOVEMENT OF A CONTACT LENS



The same method can be used to 
measure the movement of a 
contact lens.  For example with 
a soft lens, a spot size of 0.2 mm 
to 1 mm can be used.  The amount 
of movement of the edge in 
relation to the spot size with a 
blink can be determined.  The 
spot size in this segment is 
0.3 mm.
